My X7 is 2 weeks old and the iDrive 8.5 screen goes blank of the right side! This reset does not work. IDrive Forum shows many blank screen issues with no solution. Not good!
Maybe now some of the functions will start working, it is not like we PAYED A LOT OF MONEY FOR THEM. BMW, please stop making that bad excuses of cars and make useable ones again
My new bmw 218i Active tourer has a problem. The interior lighting menu opens up on its own and closes again sometimes. BMW Turkey can not solve it. Need help.
Good for in about 8+ years from now when every BMW made from today has check engine warnings and 11+ things that broke which will be too much to fix. Throwaway cars from that point.

Yep ive had to learn this on my X2 2024 with ID9. Proper glitchy and hard resetting a couple of times a week when things stop working!
Same here. All my enthusiasm went down south after i was completely thrown away from nav in long trip.

I want to clean the screen. How can I turn off the screen without waking it up when I touch it?
After the 30 seconds, should we keep pressing the button until the system restarts, or can we release the button ?
Keep pressing until it goes off, then you can release and it will restart normally
It should be able to reset itself when the car is locked.
What to do if the front screen is shut down? And it does not react to anything?
Buy a better car, for example, the os7 ones
